PRP
What Is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is a regenerative treatment that uses components from your own blood to support your body's natural renewal processes. A small sample is drawn and gently spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors. This concentrated plasma is then applied or injected into the treatment area, where it may help stimulate collagen, encourage tissue repair, and refresh the look of your skin.
Because PRP is derived from your own body, it appeals to patients who prefer a more natural approach. At Angel Face Aesthetics, we use PRP for a range of goals, from improving skin tone and texture to softening the tired, shadowed look of under eye hollows. During your consultation, we will discuss whether PRP may be a good fit for your concerns and what results you can reasonably expect.

What to Expect From Your Treatment
Your visit begins with a simple blood draw, much like a routine lab test. We then prepare your plasma while you relax, a process that takes only a short time. Depending on your treatment plan, the PRP may be combined with microneedling for overall skin rejuvenation, or placed carefully in the delicate area beneath the eyes to address hollowing and thin, crepey skin.
PRP works gradually as your body responds to the growth factors over the following weeks. Because it relies on your own natural healing, results tend to build over a series of sessions rather than appearing overnight. We will recommend a treatment schedule based on your goals and check in along the way to track your progress. Most patients experience minimal downtime and can return to their day with only light aftercare.
A natural, regenerative option that uses your own growth factors to support skin renewal and refresh the under eye area.
